The Global Alliance of Universities on Climate (GAUC) is set to bring a dynamic wave of youth leadership and academic innovation to the upcoming UNFCCC COP30 in Belem, building on its legacy of empowering the next generation.

A central pillar of GAUC’s participation is its Youth Delegation. Comprising dedicated students and trainers selected from the ‘Climate x’ training program and GAUC member universities worldwide, the delegation will actively engage in conference proceedings to ensure the perspectives of future leaders contribute to high-level climate dialogue.
Marking its third appearance at a UN climate conference, GAUC will host its own pavilion in the Blue Zone (PV-C98). Designed as a collaborative global hub, the pavilion will provide a platform for scholars, students, and youth from around the world to present cutting-edge research, exchange innovative ideas, and inspire collective climate action.
On November 20th, 9:30 – 12:30, the program will culminate in a high-level event at the China Pavilion. Serving as the finale of GAUC's annual "Climate x" series, this event will shine an international spotlight on the tangible climate actions and ambitious vision of the next generation of carbon-neutral pioneers, underscoring their vital role in shaping the future of global climate governance.
We invite all COP30 participants to join us on COP30, share insights, and help turn dialogue into impact. We look forward to co-creating a sustainable future with you at this pivotal gathering.
