Campus Action
GAUC shall implement green and carbon-neutral campus action, share experiences and best practices, and promote the carbon-neutral transformation of the university in its management, operations and finances.
On March 11, the 1st online Campus Decarbonization Workshop was held successfully. This session is jointly proposed by the University of Tokyo and Tsinghua University, which are members of GAUC. It serves as prelude to the activities of the campus action working group of GAUC.
Proposed by the GAUC Campus Action Working Group and co-hosted by the University of Tokyo and GAUC, the 1st online Campus Decarbonization Workshop will be held on 11th March 2021 through Zoom Webinar. The event will consist of presentations from eight GAUC member institutions and a discussion session. We are delighted to invite all of you who are interested with our workshop, wish to see you soon!
The 2nd Graduates Forum of the Global Alliance of Universities on Climate is coming soon! We wish to meet you here at Tsinghua this autumn, to discuss issues on climate change and to jointly make efforts to tackle this global challenge.
Coupled with the inaugural Graduate Forum of the Global Alliance of Universities on Climate, the Environmental Cultural Week attracted an accumulation of more than four thousand students participated during the week. Including initiatives from pop quizzes, exhibitions, Akabella chorus, flash mobs, and various cultural performances.
